Laboratory and Equipment Administration Centre of Nanning Normal University (referred to as "Experimental Center") is the laboratory and equipment management department of the university.

The main function of the Experimental Center is to serve both students and teachers in experiment teaching, ensure laboratory and equipment management and services, and give full play to the functions of teaching, scientific research and social service. Other functions of the Experimental Center are as follows.

1. Planning and constructing the teaching and scientific research laboratories in the whole school;

2. Taking the responsibility for the construction and improvement of laboratory safety system;

3. Taking the responsibility for laboratory safety education and access;

4. Taking the responsibility for the supervision and management of laboratory safety ;

5.Collecting data statistics of laboratory equipment and resources;

6. Taking the responsibility for the construction and management of experimental teaching demonstration center and virtual simulation experimental teaching center;

7. Taking the responsibility for the openness, performance evaluation and information construction of large-scale instruments and equipment;

8. Taking the responsibility for the construction and management of comprehensive, designing and researching, and virtual simulation experiment projects;

9. Taking the responsibility for the planning and management of the teaching laboratory equipment and the consumables;

10. Taking the responsibility for the opening of laboratory;

11. Taking the responsibility for the maintenance and management of teaching instruments and equipment;

12. Taking the responsibility for the construction and management of students' experimental teaching courses and experimental syllabus;

13. Completing the affairs assigned by higher authorities and schools.

The Experimental Center consists of Laboratory Construction Department (and Office), Instrument Equipment Management Department and Maintenance Department.

The Comprehensive Training Center for Teacher Education of Nanning Normal University is affiliated to the Experimental Center, which is an information-based platform integrating “teaching, scientific research and skills training” for improving teachers’ professional ability. The Training Center is equipped with various laboratories that all the four campuses each posses, providing conditions for the training and improvement of normal students’ professional skills.
